Murphy Sidewalk Project T-1. Question Deadline 07/07/2024 at 2:00 PM CT. Estimate: $520,000. Scope The project includes 700' of concrete and asphalt trail between S. Maxwell Creek Road and McCreary Road along with a pedestrian crossing of McCreary Road and a 2 - 8' x 8' box culvert low water crossing of Maxwell Creek with wingwalls and apron. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in bidding. The bidder agrees to begin construction within 10 calendar days after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed with Construction (Work Order), and to complete the contract within 120 calendar days after receipt of said notice A Maintenance Bond in an amount of not less than 100 percent of the contract price, conditioned upon maintenance of this project for a period of two years will be required for this project. Description: Vegetation can be used as a temporary or permanent stabilization technique for areas disturbed by construction. Vegetation effectively reduces erosion in swales, stockpiles, berms, mild to medium slopes, and along roadways. Other techniques such as matting, mulches, and grading may be required to assist in the establishment of vegetation.
