the following: Quantity: 400 Unit: LF Description: Pipe Replacement Liquidated damages apply at the rate of S870.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. For third class cities the bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality. For other municipal types it is the discretion of the municipality. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Work to be completed on or before 8/23/2024 DESCRIPTION OF WORK: o Pipe Replacement- remove and dispose of existing concrete pipes with plastic corrugated pipes according to state regulations; Stone cover compaction; 19 mm blacktop; seal all seams; New Corrugated Plastic Pipe to be provided by Liberty Township o Install Corrugated Plastic pipes 200 feet of 18 inch; 200 Feet of 24 inch o 13 locations along Bullfrog Road, Each pipe is 30 feet in length o Pipe Locations will be marked by Township o Contactor to provide road closure signs and traffic control All work to be done as per Pub 72M, RC standard 30M
