Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Nicholson, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Work shall consist of replacement of two catch basins and pipe, including saw cut, excavation removal and disposal of existing pipe, and basins; installation of new pipe and basins; pavement restoration Any questions regarding the project, plans, and or bid specifications shall be directed to the Borough Manager, Jessica Bower at 570-942-6451 no later than the 5:00 p.m. on June 24, 2024, an addendum will be issued the following day answering all questions from potential bidders submitted. Bids must be submitted upon the forms furnished by the Borough and pursuant to contract instructions contained in the Bidding Documents. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid made payable Nicholson Borough. 2024 Pipe & Catch Basin Project -remove and Dispose of Existing Pipe, and Basins - Install New Pipe and Basins- Pavement Resoration as Per Attached Pipe Worksheet (as Per Worksheet) According to Pa Dot Pub 408 Specs The successful Bidder agrees to comply with the provisions of the Steel Products Procurement Act of March 3, 1978, P.L. 6, as amended (73 P.S. &1881 et seq.) Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Nicholson Borough office at the address above. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $870.00 per calendar day. The successful Bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of one hundred percent of the Contract Price as further described in the Bidding Documents. Except for Bids properly withdrawn prior to the opening of Bids, no Bidder may withdraw his Bid until sixty days after the date of opening of Bids. The right is reserved by Nicholson Borough to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or defects or to accept the Bid that, in the judgment of Nicholson Borough, will be in its best interest.
