Demolition and site work for a residential development in Bedford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The Middlesex community college bedford, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the MCC Bedford Building 5 Demolition and Related Site Restoration Work Project (Bedford Campus) in Bedford, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Pfeufer Richardson Architects. The Project consists of but not limited to: the demolition and legal disposal of Building 5 (Bedford House) and all of its contents, as well as the make-safe and/or cutting and capping of all utilities serving the existing building. The project also includes Base Bid and Add Alternate work related to site restoration, modifications and improvements as depicted and described in the plans and specifications. Scope of work includes all costs associated with premium time required to meet project completion dates. The Base Bid is estimated to cost: $856,995 The Add Alternate is estimated to cost: $199,361 Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 26 to 27H inclusive. Bond Notes: General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates), and made payable to the Middlesex community college bedford. Note: A bid deposit is not required for Projects advertised under $50,000.
