Remodeling of a municipal facility in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 5,790-square-foot municipal facility.
In general, the work consists of: renovation of 5,790 square feet on the fourth floor of GEF I Building. Work includes demolition of demountable office partitions and doors, new openings in drywall partitions for doors or openings, and removal and salvage of mechanical diffusers and grilles. Construction of metal stud and drywall partitions, installation of hollow metal frames, wood doors, and interior glazing at offices and conference rooms. Removal and relocation of ceiling tiles to accommodate mechanical and electrical work. Mechanical work includes supply ductwork, diffusers, and transfer grilles to accommodate reconfigured spaces. The Owner will provide work by the Owner under separate contract. 1. Final interior painting of drywall, hollow metal frames, and plywood monitor panels 2. Final staining of interior wood doors 3. Electrical and Data scope of work 4. HVAC VAV controllers and final programming 5. Carpet and base removal and disposal 6. Carpet and base material and installation 7. Owner to turn material only over to contractor for installation and related labor: hollow metal door frames, wood doors, and hardware, hollow metal borrowed transom lites. Glazing of sidelites and borrowed transom lites provided by contractor.
