CEQA Services - Downtown West Parking Structure. PROJECT SCOPE: The City is requesting a proposal with two potential CEQA document options (see list below for both options) detailing the CEQA approach. After reviewing the approaches outline in the options, the City anticipates selecting the best option for the project PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The City of Fontana is accepting proposals from qualified firms to provide CEQA Services for the Downtown West Parking Structure Project. All work associated with this project shall conform to Local, Regional, State and Federal requirements. The proposed Project is located within the City of Fontana, CA and is bound by Arrow Blvd. to the south, by Nuevo Ave. to the west, and by an Alley to the east as shown in the Vicinity Map (Reference Exhibit "A" Vicinity Map). In general, the Project will consist of the demolition of existing commercial buildings within the project limits and the construction of a proposed parking structure. The proposed parking structure is envisioned to have a footprint of approximately 150 feet by 300 feet and contain a minimum of 400 parking spaces. The intent of the structure is to serve the planned downtown area including an office building and hotel to be constructed adjacent to the Project at a later date.
