Renovation of a residential development in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Working plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
2022 Capital Fund Program consisting of Comprehensive Modernization work including all necessary labor, materials, equipment and supervision to accomplish the described work at all specified buildings Bid Security in the Form of a Certified Check or Bank Draft Payable to the Holdenville Housing Authority, U.s. Government Bonds or a Satisfactory Bid Bond Executed by the Bidder and Acceptable Sureties In an Amount Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Bid Shall Be Submitted With Each Bid. Security Checks Will Be Returned to All but the Three Lowest Bidders Immediately After the Bid Opening. The Three Lowest Bid Securities Are Retained Until the Contract is Awarded. The Competency and Responsibility of Bidders Will Be Considered in Awarding the Contract. The Owner Shall Have the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Reject a Bid Not Accompanied by Required Bid Security, or Other Data Required to Be Submitted With the Bid, or to Reject a Bid Which is in Any Way Incomplete, Irregular or Nonconforming. It is the Intent of The Housing Authority to Award a Contract to the Lowest Responsible Bidder Provided the Bid Does Not Exceed the Funds Available. The Housing Authority Shall Have the Right to Waive Any Informality or Irregularity in Any Bid or Bids and to Accept the Bid That, in Its Judgment, is in Its Own Best Interest. Attention is Called to the Provisions of Equal Opportunity and Payment of Not Less Than the Minimum Salaries and Wages as Set Forth in the Bidder's Packet. This Contract is Subject to the Conditions of Executive Order 11246, Which Prohibits Discrimination in Employment Because of Race, Color, Religion, Sex or National Origin on Federal or Federally Assisted Construction Contracts. Instructions Relative to Compliance With Executive Order 11246 and Section 3 Will Be Given at The Pre-bid Conference. This Contract Also is Subject to the Provisions of Title Vi of the Civil Rights Act Of 1964. No Bid Shall Be Withdrawn for a Period of Sixty (60) Days Subsequent to the Opening of Bids Without the Consent of the Housing Authority.
