Work to be performed under this project includes removing the existing pavement on the unopened portion of the Parkway between U.S Route 7 (Shelburne Street) and Home Avenue including the U.S Route 7/I-189 interchange ramps, subbase improvements, paving, curbing, drainage improvements, and lighting improvements. Work also includes fine-milling and paving a portion of I-189 eastbound and westbound travel lanes. Work also includes removing the existing pavement and paving of Pine Street and approaches, curbing, drainage improvements, sidewalk construction, traffic signal installations, and other highway related items. Question Deadline 06/28/2024 at 5:00 PM ET During the advertisement phase of this project all questions shall be addressed solely to Corey Mims, Senior Public Works Engineer, via email at cmims@burlingtonvt.gov. Responses to questions and addenda will be provided by 5:00 PM on July 8, 2024 via email to bidders who have requested copies of the plans. In addition, revisions will be posted on the City's RFP web page at electronically. Each BID must be accompanied by a certified check payable to the City of Burlington for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the BID. A BID bond may be used in lieu of a certified check. Bidders agree to abide by the Davis Bacon Wage Rate Schedule, which are appended to these Contract Documents. The Contract shall be completed on or before June 30, 2026. For this Proposal the Engineers Estimate falls between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
