Water Supply System Improvements: Work includes furnishing all the labor, materials, and equipment for construction of approximately 4,439 L.F. of 6" raw water supply line, approximately 2,086L.F. of 2" force main, approximately 2,422 L.F. of 12" potable water supply main, three submersible well pumps, demolition of three existing well houses, well pitless units, backup generator, air releases, hydrants, valves and appurtenances, excavation, backfilling, grading, site concrete work, gravel surfacing, grass seeding, erosion control, well piping and electrical improvements, and all other incidental and appurtenant work required to complete the improvements as shown and specified. This project is funded in part by the Kansas Department Health and Environment Revolving Loan (KPWSLF), and permanent financing from the United State Department of Agriculture - Rural Development (USDA-RD). The bidder's attention is called to the required compliance with KPWSLF, and USDA-RD funding requirements. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the presidents Executive Order No. 11246 (Equal Employment Opportunity) as amended. Requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the specifications. A pre-bid conference for the Project will not be held.
