Installation of Exterior Replacement Windows within the City of Chester Margaret Foote Recreation Center. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. Remove all old exterior windows, metal frames, and caulking from all exterior walls. 2. Clean and clear the area of all debris within the window framing. 3. Repair interior window seals, broken brick, and mortar joints. 4. Dispose of all debris at an approved landfill. Installation of Replacement Windows: 1. Install replacement windows matching the original historic building's look in the City of Chester SC Historical District. 2. Use storefront-style, double-insulated, inoperable metal window framing (not wood). 3. Ensure all windows meet State of SC Energy Code. 4. Seal windows with commercial-grade exterior caulking to prevent weathering.
