The City is seeking bids for a one-time purchase of 24 units of 12-inch Ground Hog Model Butterfly Valves manufactured by the Henry Pratt Company for the City of Topeka, Water Division as defined under the City of Topeka and Shawnee County Standard Technical Specifications. For this bid event only, the City is waiving the last sentence and requirement listed in Section 8.01 Paragraph H of the City of Topeka and Shawnee County Standard Technical Specifications. Q And A Open6/14/2024 3:41:00 AM Q And A Close6/21/2024 3:30:00 AM Bids must incorporate a minimum warranty of one (1) year from delivery for all parts and materials. Warranty details must be included with the submitted bid response, and all factory warranty requirements must be clearly stated. The City of Topeka intends to issue a Purchase Order to the awarded vendor on or before July 10, 2024, in the best interest of expediting delivery. Delivery must occur to the delivery location on or before August 21, 2024. Bidders shall include the delivery date on their line item bid response and in their bid response documentation. Materials or equipment purchased is subject to inspection and acceptance at the City's destination. The City of Topeka reserves the right to reject and refuse acceptance of items, which are not in accordance with any order. Rejected materials or equipment shall be removed by or at the expense of the seller. Shipping and ordering will be coordinated with the awarded vendor.
