The Department of Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms that are able to provide Landscape Maintenance Services, at Amador Area Office. The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) invites prospective bidders who are certified by the Department of General Services (DGS) Office of Small Business Disable (OSDS) as a Small Business (SB) or Micro Business (MB) to review and respond to the attached QUOTE REQUEST (QR) # 24C295000 entitled, "CHP Amador Area Office - Landscape Services. When preparing and submitting a quote, compliance with the instructions found herein is imperative. Contractor agrees to provide to the Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) Amador Area Office, the services described herein: furnish all supplies, materials, tools, equipment, labor, personnel, and supervision; pay all taxes, insurance, bonds, license and permit fees, and all other direct and indirect costs necessary to provide weekly Landscape Maintenance Services in accordance with the terms set forth in this Agreement. A. License Requirements: C-27 Landscaping Contractor B. Contractor shall provide a Certificate of Insurance in accordance with the Insurance Requirements found in this Agreement (Exhibit E). The services shall be performed at: Department of California Highway Patrol Amador Area office 301 Clinton Road Jackson, CA 94642 Landscape Maintenance work schedule is to be provided during normal working hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding state holidays). Contractor shall check in/check-out with the CHP On-Site Contact person or designee upon each service call to provide verification that service has been provided. Dates and times to be mutually agreed upon between CHP Project Representative and Contractor. License/Certificate Requirements: Contractors State Licensing Board, CSLB, C-27 Landscaping Contractor and a Local Business License. Anticipated Service Term Dates: 08/01/2024 (or upon approval) through 07/31/2025, with one (1) one-year option to re-new by State. This acquisition shall be awarded pursuant to Government Code Section 14838.5 for contract awards of $5,000.01 to $250,000.00 to State of California certified Small Business / Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises. In accordance with the California Government Code and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, this QR can be made available in a text-only format on a compact disc as a disability-related reasonable accommodation. Cancellation A. CHP reserves the right to cancel this Agreement without cause, upon thirty (30) calendar days advance written notice to the Contractor. B. CHP may, at its option, immediately cancel the Agreement if any emergency arises which causes the closure of the facility. C. CHP reserves the right to cancel or terminate this Agreement immediately for cause. The term "for cause" shall mean that the Contractor fails to meet the terms, conditions, and/or responsibilities of this Agreement. D. Agreement cancellation/termination shall be effective as of the date indicated in notification from CHP to the Contractor. The notice shall stipulate any final performance, invoicing or payment requirements. E. In the event of early cancellation/termination, Contractor shall be entitled to compensation for services performed satisfactorily under this Agreement and expenses incurred up to the date of cancellation in support of this Agreement.
