Renovation of a golf course in Plano, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a golf course.

Question Deadline 07/01/2024 at 12:00 PM CT Questions must be submitted electronically ,No questions will be answered over the phone or through email. The City of Plano is soliciting for the following: The scope of work is the construction of stream bank stabilization improvements for site A1 and A2 along with a golf cart trail alignment adjustment for site F in the Pecan Hollow Golf Course. Site A1 consists of stabilization of approximately 315 LF of the eroded north bank near the golf course cart path. Site A2 consists of stabilization of approximately 220 LF of the eroded south bank near the golf course green. The location of this project is Pecan Hollow Golf Course, 4501 14th Street in the City of Plano, Texas. Site A1 is located along Rowlett Creek at hole 6, site A2 is located along Rowlett Creek at hole 7, and site F is located at hole 10. A location map is included in the plans. This project is estimated at $2,667,000.00. Questions must be submitted electronically through IonWave. No questions will be answered over the phone or through email All responses are due prior to the published closing date and time. No late responses will be accepted. Time Critical Bid/Proposal Deliveries: The City of Plano cannot guarantee, due to internal procedures, that any bids/proposals sent via US mail will be picked up and delivered by the closing date and time. It is recommended that critical bid/proposal deliveries be made either electronically or in person as described above. It is further recommended that users review all electronic response attachments to ensure the uploaded files are able to be downloaded and viewed. This project must reach TOTAL completion within 175 calendar days from the notice to proceed. The amount for liquidated damages is anticipated to be $1,000.00 for each day work remains incomplete after the time specified. Include a bid bond or a bid guarantee in the form of a cashier's check or certified check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price. This is a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute the performance bond and the payment bond on the forms provided in this solicitation. Checks shall be issued by a national or state bank and the bid bond shall be from a reliable surety company. A BID BOND or a CASHIERS CHECK in the amount of 5% of the amount bid must be received by The City of Plano Procurement Division prior to the published bid closing date/time. Bid Bonds may be submitted by uploading a scanned copy into electronically. The apparent low bidder will be required to furnish the original bid bond within 24 hours of the request by the Procurement Department or may be deemed non-responsive. REQUIRED BONDS FOR CONTRACT The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond, on the form provided, in the amount of one hundred fifteen percent (115%) of the contract price. Successful bidder must also provide a material and labor payment bond, on the form provided, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Bonds must be from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety, or other sureties acceptable to the Owner. Delivery of applicable bonds to the City no later than ten (10) days after notice of award is required.
