This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks qualified firms to provide on-call material testing services for the City of Sequim. An on-call contract for consulting services will be awarded to selected respondents in an amount not to exceed $150,000.00. The contract term will be for 3 years and may be extended at the discretion of the City to the maximum 4 years allowed by RCW 35.23.352(13)(c). Services shall include the sampling and testing of roadway and building construction materials including, but not limited to: hot mix asphalt, cement concrete, grout, aggregates, and soils. Firms selected will receive an On-Call task order agreement. Individual tasks will be negotiated as stand-alone assignments terminating when the task budget is exhausted, or the task time frame has expired. The selected firm(s) shall be familiar with applicable American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), and American Concrete Institute (ACI) standards and testing methods. The City reserves the right to amend the terms of this RFQ, to circulate various addenda, or to withdraw the RFQ at any time, regardless of how much time and effort consultants have spent on their responses.
