Contract JFK-124.025 - John F. Kennedy International Airport - Rehabilitation of Taxiways A and B East and South. Estimate Range: $100M - $150M. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The work under this contract consists generally of rehabilitation of taxiways, including milling, paving, drainage, pavement markings, landscaping, lighting system, signs and sign bases, maintenance and protection of traffic, relocation and retrofit of fuel infrastructure, construction of taxiway throats, realignment of taxiways and taxiway intersections, taxiway fillet improvements and related work at Taxiways A and B, including crossing taxiways, and the vicinities thereof at John F. Kennedy International Airport, Queens, New York. This project may be federally funded in whole or in part. Accordingly, all bidders and the successful Contractor will be required to comply with any and all required applicable federal provisions and requirements contained in this solicitation and resulting contract. That the bidder has completed (or substantially completed) as a prime or general contractor at least two contracts of type (aeronautical 5kV lighting cables and accessories), size and complexity comparable to the work of this Contract within an Air Operations Area (AOA) within the past ten years. 2.) That the bidder's full-time project manager and full-time Superintendent each have a minimum of five years construction experience on contracts comparable in type, size and complexity to the work of this Contract within an operating airport environment in areas within an active AOA . 3.) That the entity performing the electrical work has the following qualifications: a. Completed or substantially completed at least two contracts comparable in type (aeronautical 5kV lighting cables and accessories) and complexity to the work of this Contract. b. The full-time project manager shall have a minimum of five years construction experience on contracts with electrical work comparable in complexity to the work of this Contract. c. The full-time Superintendent shall have a minimum of five years construction experience on contracts with electrical work comparable in type (aeronautical 5kV lighting cables and accessories) and complexity to the work of this Contract. A Bid submitted by a bidder that does not meet the prerequisite Qualification Information requirements will be considered non-responsive and the bidder's Bid will not be eligible for acceptance by the Authority. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (Port Authority), in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that for any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and no businesses will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), creed, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), age or disability in consideration for an award. Additionally, all bidders (including proposers, and respondents, as applicable) are notified that the Port Authority will ensure that, with respect to any contract/agreement entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises, minority business enterprises and woman-owned business enterprises, as applicable, will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids, proposals and responses, as applicable, in response to this invitation, and no businesses will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), creed, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), age or disability in consideration for an award.
