As of August 14, 2024 project was awarded to Aero-Mark Company, awarded amount is $246,832.15. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. In order for a contractor to be awarded a construction contract on this project, a current "Certificate of Qualification" must be submitted prior to award of the contract showing qualification to perform the type of work included in this construction contract. The amount of the Certificate of Qualification must exceed the amount of the bid on this project. Any bid submitted by a contractor who is not prequalified as required herein will be rejected. The completion date for the Contract will be no later than October 18, 2024. Prevailing wage rates to be paid under this contract shall be those ascertained by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Industrial Relations, Wage and Hour Administration provided for in Ohio Revised Code, Section 4115. All bidders must conform to Section 153.59 of the Revised Code concerning discrimination. Only bids submitted by "Contractors prequalified with the Ohio Department of Transportation, Bureau of Contractor Qualifications" will be accepted on this project.
