Description: The City of Greer is requesting sealed bids for Project #2024-028 Fire Department Bay Epoxy Flooring Replacement. The contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, labor, services, and supervision to provide and install the work as described below: o Move and reset air compressor in apparatus bay. o Mechanically remove and dispose of 3,100 square feet of existing floor coatings. o Prepare existing floors to receive new flooring, including removing all debris and filling/leveling any large cracks, holes, or unevenness using epoxy compound crack filler to ensure proper installation on a clean and level surface. Bay Floor has a significant crack near the entry door from the bay into the station that will need attention. o Apply 3,100 square feet of E100 VB-5 vapor barrier primer coat per manufacturer's specifications. o Apply 3,100 square feet of E100-PT4 Fast Set Epoxy, per manufacturer's specifications, in a gray shade to be approved by Fire Department Representatives. o Fully broadcast FB-17 1/4 " decorative flake in Nightfall shade or approved similar color to rejection. o Once dry, scrape and sand entire bay floor area to remove any excess flake and vacuum clean entire area per manufacturer's specifications. o Apply 3,100 square feet of E100 PT4-SHD seal coat and allow to dry. Coating will not extend past the closure of the garage doors. o Apply approximately 370 linear feet of bay lines in safety yellow. The yellow lines will be 4" in wide. o Apply SPARTIC-ALL RM Gloss clear topcoat to entire area. o Install city provided floor pad at pole landing zone. o A respectable warranty will also need to be provided against any defects post install.
