As of August 16,2024, project was awarded to Ajax Paving Industries of Florida, LLC, awarded amount is $82,716,016.89. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. The Airside Improvements Contract Documents include furnishing labor, materials, equipment, services, insurance, bonding, taxes, permits and incidentals for the work shown ON the bid documents. This project consists of full-strength asphalt Taxiway and Taxilane construction and paving. The apron hardstands will consist of full-strength concrete construction and paving. Other infrastructure improvements include demolition, earthwork, grading, drainage, underground chilled water piping, utilities, jet fuel piping, lighting, Air Operations Area (AOA) fencing, milling, pavement markings, and Maintenance of Traffic (MOT). The Authority reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, accept or reject any alternates, waive irregularities and technicalities if it is in the best interest of the Authority, in the Authoritys sole judgment, and in conformance with applicable state and local laws or regulations. The successful Bidder must comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations pertaining to the performance of the work specified herein. As applicable, the successful Bidder must obtain all permits, licenses and certificates, or any approvals of plans or specifications as may be required by federal, state and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations, for the proper execution of the work specified herein. A current copy of all applicable licenses, registrations and/or permits will be maintained on the jobsite during the progress of the work. The Federal Aviation Administration or the Authority shall upon its own action or upon written request of an authorized representative of the Department of Labor withhold or cause to be withheld from the Contractor under this contract or any other Federal contract with the same prime contractor, or any other federally-assisted contract subject to Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements, which is held by the same prime contractor, so much of the accrued payments or advances as may be considered necessary to pay laborers and mechanics, including apprentices, trainees, and helpers, employed by the Contractor or any subcontractor the full amount of wages required by the contract.
