Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the construction of a 36,652-square-foot, two-story above grade municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and 17,827-square-foot, one-story above grade parking garage.
The intent of this proposal call is to engage a qualified and experienced Construction Management firm to successfully perform the construction management services and work for the new Department of Natural Resources & Renewables Operations Centre, located on Creighton Road in Shubenacadie, NS on behalf of DPW for a Stipulated Price fee, defined Reimbursable Expenses, and Subcontract costs in accordance with the Agreement. The Project includes: 1. Construction of a new sustainable operations centre 2. Construction of an eight- bay maintenance garage and parking for staff 3. Decommissioning and demolition of existing facilities, and 4. Overall site improvements to enhance both the visitor and staff experience. 5.
