As of August 22, 2024 project was awarded to Ballew Construction, LLC awarded amount is $1,427,153.05. Bids received after the specified time will be returned unopened. Unit pricing required; payment will be by check. Bonds are required. Fort Bend County reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Front St Improvements will include the realignment of Richmond Parkway at the intersection with W. Austin St to finish the smooth curve started in the previous project. This work will be completed in accordance with City of Richmond and Fort Bend County Standards. Work includes grading, lime stabilized base, concrete pavement, curb, seeding and sodding, traffic signal, placement of signs and pavement markings. Contractor is responsible for coordinating with the currently on-site construction contractor, WadeCon, to establish a smooth transition of the Traffic Control Plan to maintain the current traffic patterns. Contractor is also responsible for establishing and maintaining a storm water pollution prevention plan in accordance to the measures shown in the plans and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan Manual. The contractor must provide the information for Section 4 of the TCEQ Notice of Intent (NOI). The contractor will be designated as the Primary Operator and the County will be the Secondary Operator.
