Site work for a water / sewer project in Winder, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks: Check and verify the provided equipment (tube settlers and aeration diffusers) are in compliance with the parts specified to be supplied in their provided submittal. Install tube settlers in the two designated locations (basins) within the Marburg facility. Install aeration diffusers in the three designated aeration tanka within the Marburg facility. Perform any necessary modifications to the existing air piping system to ensure proper integration and operation of the new diffusers. Test the installed equipment to ensure proper functionality. Provide all necessary tools, labor, and materials for the installation, excluding the already purchased equipment. Provide coordination with equipment suppliers for installation certification and their onsite inspection and installation oversight as provided in their submittals. Work Restrictions: No more than one basin/tank may be removed from service at one time. Aeration/Settling Tank 1 and 3 must be completed before taking down Aeration Tank 2. Contractor required to remove all existing equipment prior to new equipment installation. Demolition and installation process for each tank must be completed in no more than 10 calendar days. Upon restart of the basin/tank a one week gap must be maintained prior to taking the next basin/tank down for construction. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and standards. Contractor installation scope to be as shown and determined from the following RFB attachments: SSI Aeration Equipment Submittal. Brentwood Tube Settler Submittal. Existing Marburg Facility Drawings. Contractor shall furnish all insurance, transportation, materials, supplies, parts, test equipment, instrumentation, apparatus, services, tools, project management, supervision, labor, engineering,technical knowledge,skills, and all things necessary to provide installation services for replacement of diffusers and tube settlers ALL QUESTIONS are to be directed to Tyson Page, email tyson.page@inframark.com. All questions are to be received no later than seven business days (7) before the due date of the Bid. Responses to substantive questions will be issued via Addenda, and will be posted on the City web site, Procurement Department, Bids & Results page. No organization is to discuss any aspect of this Request for Bid with any City of Winder employee without approval of the Procurement Department. This is to insure that all prospective respondents have the same level of knowledge relative to the required services as well as insuring the additional data is made available to all Bidders. Bids received will become the property of City of Winder and shall be used as the City sees fit. All information contained in the Bids will remain confidential until after contract is signed. City of Winder reserves the right to cancel the Request for Bids or to reject any and all responses received, to waive any technicalities or other minor informalities if it determines, in its sole discretion, that such cancellation or rejection is in the best interests of City of Winder. Firms shall submit evidence of insurability for this project. Project Location: Marburg Water Reclamation Facility, City of Winder Scope of Work: Installation of tube settlers and aeration diffusers, including necessary air piping modifications.
