Renovation of a medical facility in San Antonio, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Bexar County Facilities Management (BCFM) is seeking bids from contractors to replace the stairs and ramps that lead to the entrance of the Forensic Science Center (FSC). The project will replace the existing tile at the main lobby landing with a new non-slip topping. The concrete stairs and ramps now have gaps at the top of the docks, creating unsafe conditions and potential tripping hazards. The scope is to demolish and remove the existing entry stairs, ramps, masonry walls, exterior floor tile and railings as indicated in the documents and replace them with new exterior stairs and ramps. The layout of the new stairs and ramps will remain in the approximate configuration as the existing. Procurement dollars spent with a MWBE that is also a SBE will be counted in both categories
