Site work for a water / sewer project in Manhattan, Kansas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project shall include the design & construction for the replacement of approximately 1,200 linear feet of undersized & deteriorating waterline in the Ehlers Road between Bluemont Scenic Drive & Tuttle Creek Boulevard. This project shall also include new 8-inch water main Spring Hill Lane, as well as a new water main extending from Bluemont Scenic Drive to Bluemont Circle. These two mains will be connected to the 24-inch main Bluemont Scenic Drive. The project is include in the City of Manhattan's FY 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of June 28, 2024, information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. A firm construction timeline has not been released. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
