sealed Bid Proposals will be received at the office of the Holbrook Fire District ( hereinafter referred to as " the District" or 'Owner "), for furnishing the items or services described above and in the solicitation and bid package. This Request for Bid Proposals shall be governed , inter alia, by the provisions of the New York State General Municipal Law Section 103, and Sections 103-a through Sections 103-e and including Section 103-g as referenced or set forth in the Request and Bid Solicitation Package unless otherwise indicated, and a bidder must comply with the requirements of those provisions among all other specified requirements to be considered to have submitted a bid qualified for consideration The Holbrook Fire District has issued this Bid Solicitation Package for the sole purpose of obtaining responsive sealed proposals from qualified contractors to remove and replace existing boiler equipment and related services for the Holbrook Fire District. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to accept the bid deemed to have been submitted by the qualified lowest responsible bidder and based on best value. No bid may be withdrawn after the unsealing of the bids received subject to the provisions of the General Business Law . The District Manager, Thomas Pelio is the Contract Officer for the Holbrook Fire District with respect to this BED. All questions and/or comments should be directed to him at: tpelio@holbrookalarms.com The respondents to this BID Proposal shall not contact, either directly or indirectly, any other employee or agent or elected official of the District regarding this BID. In compliance with the Districts BID Solicitation Package, and subject to all the conditions thereof, the offeror, if a bid offer is accepted within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the receipt of bid proposals, to furnish any or all the items and/or services upon which prices are quoted, at the price set, to be delivered at the time and place specified therein shall enter into a formal contract to render that performance said contract to be prepared by Districts counsel and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the Bid Solicitation Package and Bid and the laws of the State of New York. The prior page signed certifies the offeror has read, understands, and agrees to all terms, conditions, and requirements of this Request for Proposals, and is authorized to contract on behalf of firm named in this BID. The offerors presenting a BID understand and agree that if awarded the project for the items and services set forth in this proposal any sub-contract authorized by the District requires that the subcontractor agree to be bound by all terms , conditions and requirements set forth in this Request for Proposal and the final Contract and contract documents agreed to by the successful Contractor and the District.
