Renovation of a residential development in Cincinnati, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) will receive Bids on the Solicitation indicated above for: 8651 DeSoto Dr. Modernization The Construction Time is 180 calendar days after receiving the "Notice to Proceed" The contractor shall hold the price for 60 days after Bid Due Date. This project is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended. Preference may be given in accordance with 24 CFR 135 and the CMHA procurement policy. The Prevailing Wages shall be paid for a legal day's work to laborers, workmen or mechanics engaged in work under this Contract, at the site of the Project, in the trade or occupation listed. The Authority reserves the right to reject and not consider any proposal that does not meet the requirements of this BID, including but not necessarily limited to incomplete proposals and/or proposals offering alternate or non-requested services, proposals deemed non-responsive, respondents deemed not responsible, and conditional proposals. All questions concerning this solicitation are to be directed via email to procurement@cintimha.com.Responses to questions will be posted as an addendum to the CMHA Question Deadline 10/02/2024 at 4:00 PM ET MBE (20%), WBE (5%) Landscaping - Remove Large Dying Tree in the rear of property. Grind Stump and remove chips. Backfill hole with topsoil and cover with Hydro-seed. Remove all vegetation from fence row on both sides, as well as cut back vegetation at rear of property. Back yard should have a clean neat appearance. Property should be mowed and Trimmed during consturction and at final turn over. All moving and trimming should be bagged and removed. Grind stump in front yard at least 1ft. below grade and remove chips. Backfill hole with topsoil, grade to match surrounding area and cover with Hydro-seed. Also remove small landscape area with painted tires, finish grade, then Hydro-seed. Final appearance of front yard should be uniform. Roof - Remove roof to sheeting. Inspect sheeting and repair where needed. Install new roof per manufacturer recommendations. Use: GAF Royal Sovereign Weathered Gray 3-Tab Roofing Shingles (33.33 sq. ft. per. Bundle) Clean out gutters, paint vent stacks to match shingles and ensure proper flashing and sealant around vent stacks. Walkways & Driveway - Pressure wash and fill concrete cracks and joints without using a pro grade melter with the 125 ft. Medium Gray Crack-Stix Permanent Concrete Joint and Crack Filler. Crack-Stix is applied with heat (a simple hand held torch) and bonds to the sidewalls of the crack. Unlike some fillers, Crack-Stix expands and contracts along with the weather to keep joints and cracks sealed. Designed for joints and cracks from 1/2 in. to 1 inch in Dia. All Door- *Repair and Paint exterior doors and frame of entry door *Door color: SW6207-Retreat *Clean entry doors inside and out *Replace hardware with Satin Steel finish. Include: hinges, door stop, door closer, and weather seal *Replace entire entrance screen door assembly and frame in kind, same color and closer Plumbing- All interior Hot & Cold water supply lines run under slab. Due to a leak in an undetermined area of the slab, these lines will be abandoned and new lines installed above slab and distributed through the walls. All new lines will connect at the main, located at the front of the unit. Install new Hot & Cold water supply lines to all interior utilities, connecting to main supply at front of unit.
