Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Niagara Falls, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The project shall include, but not be limited to full depth pavement reconstruction within the eastern half of the parking lot at NFTA Portage Road Transit Center. *Parking Lot Improvements: Pavement full depth removal and replacement and pavement markings. *Utility Improvements: Modifications to existing catch basins. Bid security must accompany each bid and must be in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid price if the base bid exceeds $50,000.00. Bid security may be submitted prior to bid opening either electronically utilizing Surety2000 at www.surety2000.com, or delivered to the NFTA in an opaque sealed envelope. Details for electronic submission are provided on the NFTA's Engineering Branch website. In the event a bidder utilizes an offline bid but provides bid security electronically the electronic bid bond number must be submitted with the offline bid. The time of completion for the project is 30 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages in the amount of $1,600 per calendar day will be assessed against the Contractor for its failure to complete the project within the time specified. The MWBE (Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises) and SDVOB (Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business) Goals are as follows: MBE 10%, WBE 12% and SDVOB 3%.
