Location: Blind Boone Community Center, 301 N. Providence Road, Columbia, MO 65203 Each bidder must submit with his/her bid a satisfactory Bid Bond, a certified check, or a bank draft payable to the Columbia Housing Authority in the amount of (5%) of the total bid amount. Employee payments shall meet minimum salary and wage rates as set forth in the Project Manual. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, creed, color, sex or national origin. All bidders are expected to examine the specifications, all instructions, and the construction sites. Failure to do so will be at the bidder's risk. Scope of Work NOTE: Bidders must Verify all Measurements and Quantities listed above to insure proper bidding. The contractor is responsible for all applicable professional services including but not limited to Engineering, architectural and permitting. 1. Install retaining wall along the North/South Sidewalk just West of the building. 2. Raise Exterior finish grade within 10" of existing playground elevation where retaining wall is installed. Place 3" of playground chips onto fill. 3. Maintain drainage swell to route water from playground area to the North onto Boone Drive. 4. Remove/replace Kitchen Cabinets where applicable. 5. Replace kitchen door with new sliding door. 6. Patch and paint kitchen walls and ceilings. 7. Route 4 dedicated 20 AMP electrical outlets to the kitchen. 8. Replace ceiling light fixtures with new LED fixtures. 9. Install new 3 bay commercial sink and faucet.
