Renovation of a residential development in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

Supply & Install New Ceramic Tiles. Question Deadline 07/02/2024 Any vendor questions not asked during the site visit must be submitted in writing to: Brooklyn.CMM.Bids@opwdd.ny.gov (within two business days of the site visit Both questions and answers (if any) will be provided to all who attend the site visit via email by July 5, 2024. Please be advised, attendance at a site visit is mandatory prior to submitting a quote. Contract term: 14 Days of Award REMINDERS: This is a NYS Public Works Project and Prevailing Wages MUST be paid. OPWDD's Bernard Fineson DDSO intends to procure service to supply and install new 12" X 12" ceramic tile flooring in the basement, with exceptions (per the attached scope of work) pursuant to its discretionary purchasing authority under State Finance Law 163(6). Location: 244-20 Grand Central Parkway South Service Road, Bellerose NY 11426. This is not an IFB (bid). The Bernard Fineson DDSOO intends to award the contract to the most responsible and responsive vendor that provides the lowest cost and meets the requirements detailed in the scope of work. Upon request, vendor must demonstrate relevant experience on prior projects of similar magnitude and is subject to vendor responsibility determination. Bernard Fineson DDSOO reserves the right to reject any and all quotes. In deciding whether to or not to submit a quote, please be aware the awarded vendor must adhere to the time frames outlined in the scope of work. Supply and Install New 12"x 12" Ceramic Tiles For Basement Flooring 12"x 12" Ceramic Floor Tile Installation. The Vendor to supply and install all Materials and Labor to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 14 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned, and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of Flooring installation, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. Important: This NYS/OPWDD residential home is and will be occupied during construction work. All provisions must be made to minimize disruption and keep the home safe for occupants. No egress routes shall be blocked at any time. Materials and debris must be protected for safety. Contractor must comply with all applicable NYS codes. SCOPE OF WORK: Includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1 Provide proper dust protection at all areas where work is to be performed. The protective barrier shall be a minimum 3 mil vapor barrier taped and properly supported to prevent dust from entering non-work areas of the home. All smoke detectors shall be properly covered and protected from dust at the start of work and removed at the end of each work day. 2 Remove and discard existing flooring down to the concrete. Prepare concrete to receive new flooring. Patch all areas as required to be properly leveled. 3 Remove baseboard, trim, doors, etc. as required to install new flooring and complete work. Repair wood trim as required for proper and complete job. Finish and paint all wood affected or disturbed by work to match with two coats of Benjamin Moore or equal. 4 All closets are to be included to receive ceramic tiles. 5 Supply and install 12" x 12" ceramic Tile inside the entire basement of the home except the boiler room. 6 Supply and install 4" cove base ceramic Tiles with bullnose top and cove bottom. 7 Supply thin set adhesive for the installation of all new ceramic floor tiles 8 Supply and install epoxy grout for all ceramic tiles installed to be sealed in a neat through fashion. 9 Color of the ceramic Tile shall be chosen during safety meeting with winning bidder. 10 Supply and install new quarter round wood molding in affected areas where there is no cove base. 11 Cut doors as required to install new flooring. All affected doors shall operate and close properly upon completion of work. 12 Move and relocate furniture back to original location as required for new floor installation. 13 Supply and install everlast or equal felt padding on all furniture in both rooms where new flooring willbe installed. 14 All new Ceramic Tile Flooring installed; Contractor must adhere to manufactures installation specs for installation to keep Manufactures 1 yr. Warranty valid. 15 New ceramic Tile Flooring must come with a one-year Guarantee from Vendor. 16 No asbestos or lead abatement of materials is required for this project.
