Demolition, site work and renovation of a parking garage in Ovid, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a parking garage; for the renovation of a parking garage; and for site work for a parking garage.

The Project includes the following Work: Contract #1: General Demolition of an existing 5'-4" long section of damaged concrete block wall, to the foundation, and construction of a new reinforced concrete block masonry wall to match existing. The existing block wall extends approximately (20) courses above the finish floor elevation and has an integral 20"x16" concrete block pilaster. The work will also involve the design and installation of temporary shoring to support the existing roof trusses and overhead door lintel(s). The work will also require providing and installing a new overhead door and associated lintel, along with minor concrete slab repairs where the slab will need to be temporarily removed to accommodate installation of the new wall. Documents Notes : Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website for a non-refundable fee of $49.00. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Bidding Documents may be examined at the offices of MRB Group (The Culver Road Armory, 145 Culver Road, Suite 160, Rochester, N.Y. 14620), and the Town of Ovid (2136 Brown Street, Ovid, New York 14521), on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM. Bidding Documents will not be available from MRB Group or the Owner. The Highway Superintendent for the Town of Ovid, Jeremy Huff, can be contacted at (607) 869-4361 to schedule a pre-bid site walkthrough if desired. Instructions to Bidders. The Town of Ovid, Seneca County, New York, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities, or to make an award to other than the low bidder. It further reserves the right to limit the amount of the award. Attention of the bidders is particularly directed to the requirements of the conditions of employment to be observed and minimum Wage Rates to be paid under the Contract. The Town of Ovid does not discriminate on the basis of handicapped status in admission or access to, or treatment or employment in, its programs and activities.. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the instructions to Bidders. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
