As of August 20,2024, project was awarded to Air Conditioning Innovative Solutions, Inc. (ACIS) , awarded amount is $1,234,257.15 Plano ISD invites contractors to bid on the Bird Center System & Compliance Project, which involves upgrading the existing air-cooled chillers, replacing the controls system, and adding security film to primary and secondary entrances. This project aims to enhance energy efficiency, improve climate control, and increase safety for all occupants. Estimated Budget - $1,100,000 and $50,000 owner's contingency Project Location - Bird Education Center - 1300 19th St, Plano, TX 75074 Each individual Proposal package submitted must be accompanied by Bid Bond made payable to Owner in an amount of five percent (5%) of the Proposal price (for Proposal bond purposes, the Proposal price shall include the base Proposal, plus all alternates; however, the Contract price shall be as awarded by Plano Independent School District). Proposal Bond shall be in the form of a Cashier's Check or a Proposal Bond, duly executed by proposer as principal and having as surety thereon, a corporate surety company duly authorized and admitted to do business in the State of Texas and licensed by the State of Texas to issue such bond, as a guarantee that the proposer will enter into a Contract and execute required Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days of Plano Independent School District award of Contract Owner reserves right to reject any or all Proposal and to waive irregularities or informalities as may be deemed in Owner's interest.
