A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of (5%) five percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid bond (on the form included in the Bidding Documents) issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraphs 6.01 and 6.02 of the General Conditions. The Southwest Pool facility was constructed in 1983 and the buildings and pools are original to the facility making the facility over 39 years old. The facility is highly valued by the community and has a long history of successful year-round programming for lessons, wellness programs, lap swimming, and swimming and diving competitions.. The facility consists of a 4,700 square foot bathhouse that enclosed guest locker rooms, administrative space, offices, lobby, and storage space and a 50-meter competitive pool and multiple diving platforms. This is an American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funded project. The scope of work for the bath house renovations include: 1.Addition of two individual restrooms that are separate from the locker rooms. 2.Storage Area: Partition the existing open storage area into 3 smaller secured areas (chain linkfence partitions) and one large open space. 3.Men's/Women's Locker Rooms: Tile Showers, flooring, new toilet and shower partitions, 4.lighting, hooks, faucets. 5.Add doors to both Men's/Women's Locker Rooms. 6.New Flooring everywhere. 7.Demo wall/ partition to create a program room. 8.Repaint interior and exterior of the building.
