The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority (RTA) isseeking bidsfor the replacement of a 30kW Schneider Electric Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) that supplies battery back-up power for RTA's main server room located at 600 Longworth Street, Dayton, OH 45402, in the event of a main power outage. This is a prevailing wage contract. ON-SITE ELECTRICAL WORK This projectinvolvessome electrical work thatis described below. This work shall be performed by a licensed electrical contractor and may be completed during regular working hours, except for D below. A. Labor and material to remove all power/data to existing UPS. B. Labor and material to remove the old and install the new UPS into the dedicated UPS room in the parking garage. C. Labor and material to install one new 80-amp breaker in panel EMD to feed new 50KV UPS. Run new 1 1/4 " EMT and new wiring from panel EMD to parking garage UPS room and make all electrical connections. D. Replace one (1) existing 100amp shunt trip disconnect with new 200A shunt trip breaker style disconnect in the electrical room adjacent to the Server Room and make all necessary connections. This line item of work shall be performed after hours. E. Provide temporary wiring to provide to power to the UPS panel in the Server Room while new UPS is being changed.
