Site work and paving for a civil project in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The work is being bid as a Base Bid with an Alternate Bid to increase the scope of work. The funding for the project will be partially paid for by an H2O Grant that was awarded to the Authority. The H20 Grant contract and requirements are attached to the Bid Specifications. The base bid includes: replacement of approximately 900 LF of existing sanitary sewer main with new eight (8) inch SDR-26 PVC gravity sanitary sewer main with full-depth stone backfill, installation of three (3) precast concrete sanitary sewer manholes, including frames and covers, replacement of eighteen (18) existing sanitary sewer laterals from the new gravity sanitary sewer main, removal and disposal of the existing gravity sanitary sewer main and sanitary sewer manholes and installation of temporary and permanent trench restoration paving. All work is located in Lower Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, as provided for in the bid documents. An alternate bid includes: replacement of 320 LF of existing sanitary sewer main with new eight (8) inch SDR-26 PVC gravity sanitary sewer main with full-depth stone backfill, installation of one (1) precast concrete sanitary sewer man- holes, including frames and covers, replacement of six (6) existing sanitary sewer laterals from the new gravity sanitary sewer main, removal and disposal of the existing gravity sanitary sewer main and sanitary sewer manholes and installation of temporary and permanent trench restoration paving. The Project will be financed through a grant by H2O PA Water Supply, Sanitary Sewer and Storm Water Projects Program. The Bidder must comply with applicable statutes, regulations, conditions, directives, and guidelines provided by H2O PA, including Nondiscrimination/Sexual Harassment Obligations. The Contract duration will be 160 days beginning from Notice to Proceed through Substantial Completion.
