Description

Remodeling and renovation of a mixed-use development in Montreal, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the remodel of a educational facility; and for the renovation of a educational facility.

Metamorphosis of the Centre Montreal University Library housing Arts Library, Education Sciences Library and Legal and Political Sciences Library. The cope of work includes upgrades, repairs and improvements to the facility to offer new digital environments, transformed and connected collaborative workspaces, socialization, and experimentation areas as well as interdisciplinary laboratories. The equity, diversity and inclusion, eco-responsibility will be at the center of the concerns and values of the project. TIMELINE: The project is preliminary. After establishment of the project concept the owner proceeded to the selection of the professional consulting team for design of the project and issued a request for proposals for architectural services that is now followed in the report under CRM ID name Projet Métamorphose - Redevelopment of the UQAM Central Library (PP26015HH). Requests for proposals for other professional consultants will follow. Timelines of the project development are being finalized. Note. The project will be completed in several phases according to the available funding.
