Site work for a civil project in Tupelo, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

This work consists of ditch improvements including re-grading and shaping of slopes and installation of rip rap slope protection between Haven Acres Park and Willie Moore Road in the Haven Acres Subdivision. The work will include but is not limited to clearing and grubbing, earthwork, and rip rap installation. Defined quantities to be bid are specified in the Contract Documents. Bond Notes: A satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an accepted Surety, a certified check, or bank draft payable to the City of Tupelo, Mississippi, on negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), shall be submitted with each bid in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. In the letting of public contracts, preference shall be given to resident contractors, and a nonresident bidder domiciled in a state having laws granting preference to local contractors shall be awarded Mississippi public contracts only on the same basis as the nonresident bidder's state awards contracts to Mississippi contractors bidding under similar circumstances; and resident contractors actually domiciled in Mississippi, be they corporate, individuals, or partnerships, are to be granted preference over nonresidents in awarding of contracts in the same manner and to the same extent as provided by the laws of the state of domicile of the nonresident. When a nonresident contractor submits a bid for a public project, he shall attach thereto a copy of his resident state's current law pertaining to such state's treatment of nonresident contractors. Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs.
