Phase 1 includes the Installation of new sanitary sewer manhole and piping, removal of existing sanitary sewer manhole and piping, force main modifications, rebenching of existing master manhole, removal and replacement of the master manhole slab and access hatch, construction of screening structure, gates, and piping, and Odor control piping. Phase 2 includes the removal and replacement of existing pumps, removal and replacement of existing discharge piping (in wet well and above grade), removal and replacement of existing top slab and access hatch, removal and replacement of existing sanitary sewer piping, and standby pump piping connections. Phase 3 includes all other work not required to be completed in Phase 1 and 2 shall be completed in Phase 3. This includes all remaining mechanical, structural, electrical, instrumentation and controls required to complete the construction of the proposed improvements for a complete and operational lift station. A Bid Security shall be made payable to TOHO, in an amount of 5% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified or cashier's check, a Bid Bond on the form provided (or substantial equivalent) issued by a Surety meeting the requirements of Article 5: Bonds and Insurance of Section 00700: General Conditions, or other security as provided by law. The Bid Security of the Low Bidder shall be retained until such Bidder has executed the Contract, furnished the required Payment and Performance Bonds and Insurance Certificates, and complied with all applicable requirements, whereupon it will be returned; if the Low Bidder fails to execute and deliver the Contract, furnish the required Payment and Performance Bonds and Insurance Certificates, and/or comply with all applicable requirements within 15 days of the Notice of Award, TOHO may annul the Notice of Award and the Bid Security may be forfeited.
