The Work for which Bids are asked includes the following: The proposed project will include removing an existing 42''x 29'' CMP culvert and replacing it with a new 60'' CMP culvert with custom headwalls and wing walls. Work will include removing a section of the pavement above the culvert, excavating and removing the existing culvert, installing the new culvert, installing riprap around the new culverts and stream bottom, restoring the stream banks, restoring the road section, paving the driveway apron, and installing new guard rail. Question Deadline 06/29/2024 A portion of this project will be funded using Adams County Bridge Aid. There are no prevailing wage rates for this contract. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond equal to five percent of the maximum bid price, payable to the Owner as a guaranty that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract Documents and furnish the required contract security. If the Successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract Documents and provide the required contract security within 15 days after the Notice of Award, the Owner may annul the Notice of Award and the Bid Security will be forfeited. Bids may not be withdrawn within 60 days after the date of the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to award the Contract to the Bidder, who in the judgment of the Owner, will best serve the interest of the Owner.
