Description The intent of this project is to provide power to the passenger boarding bridges when primary power is out. This project will provide 3 exterior, diesel-fueled, standby backup power generators at the BNIA. The Work of this project includes the provision of circuits to all generator ancillary equipment including internal heater, lighting, general purpose receptacles, emergency power off switches. All monitoring of new generator by remote generator visual/audible annunciator and/or auto-dialer systems. All site and electrical work in preparation for each new generator including concrete pads, excavation/trenching, protective bollards, and backfill/surface restoration. The Contractor shall perform not less than 50% of the work with its own forces. The time of completion for the project is 365 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages in the amount of $2,000 per calendar day will be assessed against the Contractor for its failure to complete the project within the time specified. Estimate $1,200,000.00.
