Demolition, site work and renovation of a civil project in Storm Lake, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for the demolition of a water / sewer project.

1. Construction of a 1,800 gpm submersible triplex lift station at Scout Park. 2. Construction of an electrical and controls building, including an emergency generator located in the building, for Scout Park Lift Station. 3. Demolition of existing Scout Park Lift Station, generator, and generator building. 4. Construction of a 200 gpm submersible duplex lift station at Vista Drive, named Ice House. 5. Installation of an emergency generator and control panel at the Ice House Lift Station. 6. Demolition of existing Ice House Lift Station. 7. Replacement of four (4) air release valves on 18-inch forcemain downstream from Scout Park Lift Station. 8. Installation of manholes, gravity sewer lines, and forcemain to bypass existing lift stations and connect new lift stations to existing downstream forcemains. Work shall commence upon approval of the contract by the City Council and as stated in the Notice to Proceed. All work under the Contract must be completed by 730 days. A bid security as defined by Iowa Code Chapter 26.8 and in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of the City of Storm Lake shall accompany each bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby.
