**As of August 29, 2024 , This project has been awarded to CGS, LLC in the amount of $56,329.21..** The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Lucky Shoals Park Pavilion Roof Replacement for the Gwinnett County Department of Community Services. Please Note: Ineligible Source List During the period for which a person/firm has been debarred or suspended, or placed on the Gwinnett County ineligible source list, that person/firm shall not submit or cause to be submitted offers, quotes, bids, or proposals, etc. to Gwinnett County, even when automatically or electronically distributed a notification or notified of a solicitation request. Submittals from firms currently on the Gwinnett County ineligible source list will not be considered. Bids should be typed or submitted in ink and returned in a sealed container marked on the outside with the BL# and Company Name. The successful contractor shall furnish all labor and materials required to replace shingled roof with metal seam roof on two pavilions and one small comfort station as well as replace the metal roof at baseball concession stand totaling approximately 6000 sq ft. of roof at Lucky Shoals Park located at 4651 Britt Road, Norcross, GA 30093. Failure to submit a bid bond with the proper rating will result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. Successful contractor will be required to meet insurance requirements, submit a one hundred percent (100%) performance bond and a one hundred percent (100%) payment bond. Insurance and Bonding Company should be licensed to do business by the Georgia Secretary of State, authorized to do business in Georgia by The Georgia Insurance Department, listed in the Department of Treasury's Publication of Companies holding Certificates of Authority as Acceptable Surety on Federal Bonds and as acceptable reinsuring companies. The bid bond, payment bond, and performance bond must have an A.M. Best rating of <> or higher. Award will be made to the contractors submitting the lowest responsive and responsible bid. This project may be awarded by base bid or base bid plus selected alternates, if applicable, as deemed in the best interest of the County.
