Demolition, site work and renovation of a military facility in Blackstone, Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a military facility; for site work for a military facility; and for the renovation of a military facility.
Sealed bids are invited for the # 24-85721, Fort Barfoot T2205, T2226, & T2612 administration facility repairs. The general work description of the project can be generally described as: Demolition of existing interior and exterior components associated with new work to include interior renovation, mechanical replacement, plumbing replacement, & electrical upgrades to include lighting. Questions will be due NLT 4:00PM on August 9, 2024 by email to edward.s.newcomb.nfg@army.mil Time for Completion is 120 calendar days to Substantial completion. A Bid Bond is required. The contractor, shall however, provide certificate of builders risk insurance equal to the value of the contract plus any change orders. A Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Performance Bond (DGS-30-084, form CO-10) and a Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Labor and Material Payment Bond (DGS-30-088, form CO-10.1) WILL be required regardless of the bid amount. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
