Renovation of a military facility in Honolulu, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) has a need for a well-qualified fabricator to complete and install two operable, decorative sets of gates for the new ABMC Honolulu Memorial Interpretive Center. A pair of gates will be installed at each of the two entrances to the new interpretive center. The gates are envisioned to be made of bronze with cast glass inserts. Project Location Gate fabrication will occur at the fabricator's workshop. Installation will occur at the Honolulu Memorial, National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Puowaina, Honolulu, Hawaii (the "Punchbowl"). Note that the artist has been pre-selected under a separate contract, and the final design concept is provided with this Request for Proposal. Please see the attached documents for full details.
