Adjust Sprinkler (as Needed) 1 Ea the Amount of the Engineer's Estimate of the Cost of Said Improvements (Exclusive of Engineering, Fiscal, Legal, Interest, Easement Acquisition, and Miscellaneous Costs) is $31,000.00. All Proposals Must Be Submitted on Bid Forms Furnished by E & a Consulting Group, and Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond or a Certified Check in the Amount Not Less Than $1,550.00 Made Payable to the Treasurer of Sanitary and Improvement District No. 301 as Security That the Bidder to Whom the Contract May Be Awarded Will Enter Into a Contract to Build the Improvements in Accordance With This Notice to Contractor and Will Give a Contract and Maintenance Bond in the Amount of 100% of the Total Contract Price, All as Provided in the Specifications. Bid Bonds Must Be Executed by a Duly Licensed Corporate Surety. Checks Accompanying Proposals Not Accepted Shall Be Returned to the Bidders. No Bidder May Withdraw His Proposal for a Period of Thirty (30) Days After Date Set for Opening of Bids. All Proposals Must Be Enclosed in an Envelope, Sealed, and Addressed to the Clerk of Sanitary and Improvement District No. Sanitary and Improvement District No. 301 of Sarpy County, Nebraska, Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids Received and to Waive Informalities and Irregularities. The work to be performed in this improvement shall consist of the removal of the existing pavement, sidewalks, curb ramps and replacement of Portland Cement Concrete pavement of varying widths with a minimum thickness of seven inches for large areas and nine inches for small areas, together with integral curb and gutter, sidewalk, curb ramps, remove and replace imprinted surface, construct detectable warning panel, adjust manhole to grade, adjust water valve to grade, adjust sprinkler, subgrade preparation, and necessary appurtenances for a completed improvement. Work will commence within Ten (10) working days after written Notice to Proceed and further agrees to complete the work in its entirety within the period of 20 working days after date of said Notice to Proceed, or after the start of construction, whichever occurs first. The undersigned shall forfeit liquidated damages as set forth in the Special Provisions in the event of the over-run of time. Liquidated damages will be assessed not as a penalty, but as a predetermined and agreed liquidated damages.
