Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Leavenworth, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
State Parks is seeking a consultant or consultant team with expertise in bridge site analysis, permitting, design, and program development for the new Pedestrian Bridge project at Lake Wenatchee State Park. This design and construction project will transform one of Washington's most stunning and popular destinations, 489-acre Lake Wenatchee State Park, by safely linking the north and south portions of the State Park, that are currently bisected by the Wenatchee River. The new bridge is intended to improve accessibility and the overall visitor experience by allowing people and small maintenance vehicles to move freely between the southern portion and the more natural northern portion of the park, without having to walk along a 1.1 mile stretch of the dangerous, non-ADA compliant highway 20. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
