The City of Port Washington (the "City") is soliciting statements of qualifications for consulting services to support a new grant funded initiative titled Creating a Resilient and Sustainable Valley Creek Corridor. This multi-year project will incorporate climate resiliency strategies to reduce flood risk, protect critical infrastructure, improve water quality, and improve the ecological condition of the Valley Creek corridor, located entirely within the City. The City will contract with a qualified consulting firm to provide a range of technical, planning, grant assistance, oversight and ecological restoration services to carry out the project in collaboration with the City and its partner organizations. Firms notified of Ranking/Begin Scoping August 5, 2024 Anticipated Date to Execute Contract September 17, 2024 The City will select the most qualified firm and engage in negotiations for a contract price for the detailed scope of services. If the parties are unable to agree on a fair and reasonable price, the City reserves the right to negotiate with the next highest ranked submittal from the solicitation.
