Hawbaker Inc - $595,015 This project consists of complete roadway reconstruction and utility replacements on North Allen Street from Park Avenue to Adams Avenue and partial utility replacements and roadway restoration on North Allen Street from Adams Avenue to Edith Street, including roadway pavement structure replacement, curb and curb/gutter, driveway aprons, ADA Curb Ramps, sidewalk restoration, sanitary sewer main and lateral replacement, storm sewer improvements, water main and service replacements and all required appurtenances as shown and indicated on the Contract Drawings. Bidders who received plans and specifications from any place other than State College Borough MUST call the Borough 814-234-7140 to register as plan holders. Bond Notes: Each bid is to be accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit and a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid and made payable to the Borough of State College. All bids will be presented to State College Borough Council at a public meeting. Borough Council may then accept or reject any or all bids or hold all bids for a period of 45 days from the date of Bid Opening before making a decision. Bids shall remain irrevocable for 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof unless award is delayed due to the required approval of another government agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants; in which case, bids shall be irrevocable for one hundred twenty days in compliance with Act 317 of 1978 approved Nov. 26, 1978. The Time of Completion for the Contract shall be 90 days for North Allen Street (consecutive calendar days). Work on North Allen Street shall commence and be completed as priority.
