These bids will be for the furnishing of all labor and materials, and performing all the Work in accordance with the drawings and specifications for: LOUISVILLE ROAD BRIDGE REPLACEMENT B2019-036 POT52 The project will include but not limited to the following major categories of work: 417' of Grading Pestressed Concrete Beam Span Bridge (Pbmc) With Spans of 85'-86'-59' Surfacing Seeding TIME LIMIT: 180 Consecutive Calendar Days with a Calendar Completion Date of August 1, 2025 All equipment, materials and workmanship must be in accordance with the Standard Specifications for State Road and Bridge Construction of the Kansas Department of Transportation, 2015 Edition and all supplemental Specifications and Special Provisions included therein. (NOTE: The 2015 Kansas Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for State Road and Bridge Construction will not be provided as part of this contract.) Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond executed by corporations authorized to contract as surety in the State of Kansas and made payable to the Pottawatomie County Treasurer. The Bidder, to whom a Contract is awarded, will be required to furnish acceptable Performance and Statutory Bonds, each in the amount of the total contract price, in conformity with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The right is reserved by the Owner to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity therein to determine the best responsible bid most suitable to the Owner and to approve the bonds. All persons awarded and/or entering into contracts with Pottawatomie County shall be subject to and required to comply with all applicable County, State, and Federal provisions pertaining to nondiscrimination, equal employment opportunity, and affirmative action on public contracts.
