Wilket Creek Bridge replacement. TIMELINE: An RFP for engineering has been issued by the owner. Final design package due February 2025. Construction timelines are undefined. The TRCA seeks to engage a qualified Engineering consulting firm with a Structural Engineer team lead with support from a Geomorphic, Water Resources and Geotechnical Engineer, to undertake detailed design development to replace an existing park road bridge within Wilket Creek Park in the City of Toronto with a new bridge that can support the loading capacity for fire trucks/emergency vehicles/fully loaded triaxles. The Successful Proponent must identify and demonstrate relevant expertise, qualifications and experience in the Scope of Services. A demonstrated knowledge of all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal codes, regulations, policies, by-laws, planning documents, and relevant permitting requirements is required.
