79th Street Sidewalk Improvements Project The Village of Burr Ridge will receive sealed bids to furnish all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to construct PCC sidewalk, asphalt pathway removal, sidewalk removal, accessible ramps, curb removal and replacement, driveway removal and replacement, storm sewer, storm manhole and pipe culvert installation, RRFB, pavement patching, roadway resurfacing, tree removal, landscaping restoration, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown on the plans and specifications. The length of the project is approx. 0.5 mile Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12) and Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570/0.01). Proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty. The Village reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals. DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT The work of this Project includes PCC sidewalk installation, asphalt removal, topsoil furnish & place, sodding, parkway restoration, ADA curb ramps, driveway apron removal and replacement, Hot-Mix Asphalt (HMA) milling and resurfacing, removal and disposal of unsuitable materials, tree protection, and all incidental, appurtenant, and collateral work therefor (collectively the "project") necessary to complete the project within the project limits.
