Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in West Jordan, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The City of West Jordan is seeking bids for the removal of sidewalk trip hazards from 1/4 inch to 1 1/2 inch through horizontal saw cutting, "shaving", and smooth grinding. The work will be tracked on an Inch-Foot unit price. The City will provide access to our online GIS tracking of hazards to update and track work in the field real-time. The contractor would be expected to follow all specs called out in the specifications below. Attachment A includes the priority list for the first term of the agreement. The Bidder shall familiarize itself with the nature and extent of the scope of work requirements, site, legal requirements including state and local laws, HIPPA, ordinances, rules and regulations, and the conditions affecting cost, the progress of performance of the work, and shall make all such independent investigations, as Bidder deems necessary to submit a responsible bid. The term of the awarded contract shall be for a term of one year (1) with (2) additional one (1) year renewal options. An annual performance review of the awarded contractor may be performed before the contract renewal process begins. Each renewal term is subject to mutual consent of each party. The Sidewalk Repair linear footage provided above is an estimate for the first term of the contract. The City reserves the right to increase or decrease the inch footage quantity at any time as budget funding and resources allow. It is anticipated that each term will vary in project footage quantity. Performance and payment bonds will be required for this project and shall be based upon each year's contracted project amount which is subject to change throughout the term. Questions arising subsequent to the issuance of this bid, that could have a significant impact on the responses to the bid, should be submitted via Electronically. All such questions should be received by Wednesday, July 3, 2024 @ 10:00 a.m. MST.
